Sunday Sunday Sunday

The kids are being picky with their organ meats. I had to hand feed both Tikki and Mis their livers, only Coco went for the liver by herself (is there anything meaty she DOESN'T eat??).

They were cage-free in my room for around 6 hours. For the first two-three hours they spent a good deal running around, playing, and entertaining Annabelle while she stood on my bed (she was scared they were going to bite her toes - she isn't three yet, she's scared Everything is going to bite her toes... xD).

They went back, and they got a chicken drumstick and some Stella and Chewy's freeze-dried chicken.

I'm planning on getting the bigger sampler from Casey's Hidden Pantry and see which they like the most, so I can have some freeze dried out for them while they're running around my room. I don't want fresh raw out in my room, but the freeze dried usually gets eaten only when it's needed.

This weeks schedule:

Monday:
AM: Chicken Breast Soup, with egg, a tad of cream, a little powdered eggshell
PM: Chicken Wings

T - TH:
AM: Pork
PM: Beef/Lamb

W-F:
AM: Chicken Wings
PM: Chicken Breast

Chopping up Rabbit

Chopped up my first rabbit. What an experience. Not exactly very different from chopping up chicken, just positioned differently. Tomorrow the kids are going to get the rabbit "wings" along with chicken leg meat. Yum yum!

Chestnuts!

So I took Coco out to go pick chestnuts with me. It's about a 15 minute walk to where the chestnut trees are, and she sat in my hoodie for the whole way there, just sticking her head out every now and then.
Once we got down to looking for fallen chestnuts, I took her out and hooked her up to the leash and let her walk around. She started following my shoes, like she didn't want to get lost. It was adorable.
Unfortunately, her harness doesn't fit her right, and she kept squeezing out of it. I need to get all three fuzzies new harnesses, since I've run out of them.

Still, we had a good haul, and Coco got to meet some people who though she was Awwww-sooo-cuuute. It was fun.

Chicken wings this morning, with a 500mg Taurine capsule. They'll have the meat from chicken drumsticks this evening. Yay!

AHA!

I caught Mis chowing down on a piece of lamb. He was making faces at it, but he was eating it. xD Apparently, he ran out of pork and was still hungry, haha... They still have some pieces left right now (6:30pm) and they're getting their nightly feeding in about... an hour and a half.
But yes! I'm happy, they're eating lamb! One more meat to add to their "Will Eat" list.
